Sam Roddick

Artist, radical activist, founder of Coco de Mer and a regular contributor to television and radio. Sam has been actively campaigning from an early age and has tackled issues including pornography, feminism, exploitation, human rights and raunch culture. Community is now at the forefront of her mind, specifically how individual voices within a community can be encouraged to permeate and bring about positive change.

“Inspired by my parents business philosophy I would like to highlight community in the work place. So often when we enter our place of work we leave democracy at the door, but isn’t it now time to incorporate healthy behaviour and fair practices into every aspect of our lives? By bringing your own beliefs and moral compass into the professional environment and challenging the behaviour of colleagues and management as well the ethos and trade practices of the company you work for, you can become an agent of the greatest force for positive change.”
