Paul Richards

Paul is a Director for the charity Stay up Late and the creator of Gig Buddies, a ground breaking charitable service which enables people with learning difficulties to exercise their right to an active social life. Paul’s journey began when his band Heavy Load (a punk outfit, partly made up of adults with disabilities) needed help making sure their fans had adequate care when attending their gigs and could stay to the end. Move forward a number of years and now Paul runs one of the most disruptive and successful charitable projects offering fantastic social opportunities to those who want and deserve a more ‘rock n roll’ life style!

Paul’s story will move you in amazing ways and provide you with insights into punk rock and mental social care, which you will never forget.
