The People Who Do @ TEDxBrighton 2012

On Friday the 26th October we took part in TEDxBrighton, it’s theme, The Generation Gap.   Over the course of the day, attendees took part in our playful experiments, sharing their experiences on postcards and sticking them on our wall in the Ideas Lab at The Dome.

The day offered an irresistible chance for us to explore peoples feelings towards work through a generation filter. What kinds of stories will people share? What differences might reveal themselves? What has been lost and gained in the past fifty years of work? Has work ever given people what they need?  Each colour represented an age group:

We also made a timelapse film about the day, watch it here.

The postcards have been hand bound into a series of books as a physical artefact of the day by Stanley James Press.
